The art of Khatam is one of the most original handicrafts dating back to Safavid era. Khatam, which includes the design of clay and the placement of triangular wires of rice metal, natural wood and a camel to form a small geometric unit of Khatam. Putting this geometric unit together is made up of gum, then it is made with slabs of loose material, with a diameter of 1.2 millimeters of Khatam.
