Weaving 2848 square meters of carpet in Kerman
Gholamreza Khajeh, Deputy Minister of Employment and Self-Sufficiency of the Kerman Provincial Relief Committee, said: 712 carpets with an area of 2848 square meters have been produced in the first quarter of this year by the clients of Kerman Province.
He announced the number of active carpet weavers under the support of the Kerman Provincial Relief Committee as 4,200 and added: Most of these carpet weavers are insurance weavers.
Khajeh stated that the value of the carpets produced by the clients under the support of the Kerman Provincial Relief Committee in the first quarter of this year is 5 billion and 600 million Tomans and added:

the Relief Committee identifies the current and required projects of the market, provides high quality and appropriate raw materials, supervises the implementation of clients’ carpet weaving projects and sells their carpets abroad. From the province at a higher price, it has tried to provide the most profits to the weavers under its protection.
The Deputy Minister of Employment and Self-Sufficiency of the Kerman Provincial Relief Committee pointed out that carpet weaving talent identification and their job counseling face to face is one of the main approaches of the Relief Committee in creating carpet weaving projects.
The selection of the type of carpet and the completion of the file are introduced to the relevant units so that the plan can be launched by providing the facilities of the map and raw materials required by the relief committee.
