Turkmen carpet is a prominent jewel of Iranian art
Sayings of Niaz Master Mohammad Niazi is a Muslim professor of Turkmen carpets who has been working on the design of Turkmen carpets for many years and has succeeded in reviving it.
Everyone who is interested in the art of carpet and its design knows that Turkmen carpets are full of many and varied patterns that everyone needs to be read. Meanwhile, Professor Niaz Mohammad Niazi, a designer, weaver, producer and reviver of Turkmen carpets, spends most of his life and activity. It has spent time recognizing and reproducing this original type of carpet.
“I worked hard day and night for 50 years to find out what this basic role wants to be, what date it was invented, and when it came to the public, and I finally realized that 4,000 years ago (6,000 years ago) these roles played these roles,” Niazi said. It was invented among the Turkmen and originated there and has been introduced to the world.
Turkmen carpet is the only carpet that has a special role for itself and has a deep understanding and meaning that requires time and space for man to understand it; Why it is shaped and what it means is a matter for itself; Problems that we have been able to solve today.
In fact, today we can read the Turkmen carpet and know which tribe it belongs to, and when and which tribe started it and realized that the Turkmen carpet will last. ” The Turkmen carpet weaver considers the origin of Turkmen carpet designs to be mental; In the sense that Turkmen carpets are woven based on mental thought and are not counterfeit art. According to the master, the need for this type of carpet is woven abstractly, geometrically and mentally.
Turkmen carpet weavers have based their own thinking on 811, which is a lot, and we owe it all to our mothers who have left us this precious treasure. From Master’s point of view, the role of “Margel” is considered to be the most important and common role of Turkmen carpets, which is seen in most carpets. Why they use this role more is an important question.
“According to tradition, abstract maps have been introduced since Islam came to Central Asia and banned the design and mapping of humans and animals,” said the Turkmen carpet master. “Turkmen’s mother has woven the camel’s footprint, and this patchwork has replaced the camel’s foot, and in this way she has woven her work and satisfied herself.”
“The predominant colors of Turkmen carpets are red and lacquer,” he said of the dominant colors of Turkmen carpets. Most carpets are this color and we don’t have cream or any other color. This stems from an ancient anecdote that may be true or mythical. A princess is said to fall in love with a shepherd, and the prince’s father, who finds this difficult, opposes her and her daughter insists.
His father takes him to the palace and looks at him as a prisoner and puts a guard in front of him. Between this girl and this shepherd, there was an intermediate bird that, for example, brought wool and gave it to the girl, and it was also a white thing without a pattern.
The prince’s father orders that the bird be killed if it comes again. When the bird sends the wool that the shepherd sends to the girl, she is shot with a bow. The arrow hits the girl, and the blood flowing from the prince’s heart becomes the color of Turkmen carpets. “According to another version, this color is taken from sunrise and sunset.”
Turkmen Carpet’s father announces his three-volume study, which will be published soon, and says: “The product of my entire life has been compiled in three volumes of the book, which will be published soon. In this collection, I have named and mentioned all the roles one by one. “Be assured that if these efforts had not been made, the original art of the Turkmen would have been destroyed.”
Master Niaz Mohammad Niazi’s activities and research on Turkmen carpets make it clear to everyone that this carpet is a prominent jewel both in the history of this tribe and clan and in the history of Iranian art and the name of Master Niazi is also a diamond in the dark of this carpet.
Perhaps no other region is as symbolic as Turkmen. It is worth mentioning that the artistic and personal services and status of Professor Niazi were recently honored and appreciated by the Academy of Arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
