The value of handicraft exports is growing by 40% this year

Last year, we exported $ 100 million worth of handicrafts to the country, and during the first two months of this year, this figure has exceeded $ 22 million, he continued.
We believe that with the country’s talents, it will be possible to achieve the goals of the Fourth Plan, he said, noting that the Fourth Development Plan envisages a 40 percent growth in the handicrafts sector each year.
In another part of his speech, referring to the organization of the handicrafts exhibition calendar of the country, he said: By the end of the year, seven foreign exhibitions and 15 domestic exhibitions are to be held. will be held.
For proper marketing in the handicrafts sector, we must separate the issue of marketing, which is a specialized job, from production, said the deputy head of the country’s handicrafts organization.
The handicrafts organization has a duty to identify consumers’ tastes and convey them to producers, Hajipour said.
