The sales market is the main target of handicraft fairs
Kermanshah’s deputy for handicrafts and traditional arts said: Showing the ability of artists and the market is the main goal of handicraft exhibitions.
Parvaneh Heydari stated: Holding handicraft exhibitions is a great opportunity for artists to display their works to the public.
He continued: Creating a sales market to help the household economy of artists and craftsmen in the field of handicrafts is another goal of holding handicraft exhibitions. Another function and purpose of holding handicraft exhibitions is to promote the local and authentic Iranian-Islamic lifestyle.
Heidari pointed out: 115 booths were set up in this exhibition, half of which were dedicated to the craftsmen and artists of the province and the other half to the artists and craftsmen of 29 other provinces of Iran who were able to create good days for the culture-loving people of Kermanshah.
He said that the variety of disciplines presented in this exhibition was more than other previous exhibitions, he said: more than 50 different disciplines of handicrafts were present in this exhibition.
At the end of the exhibition, the top seven booths and the top 4 booths and workshops were honored.
