He continued by stating that more than 70 hectares of lands in Mazandaran province are under Damask rose cultivation, and hoped that with the addition of 50 hectares of cultivated lands this year and reaching 130 hectares of Damask rose cultivation, it will be possible to supply raw materials. Abtali, stating that in Mazandaran province, the conditions for growing honeysuckle, which is one of the medicinal plants, are provided, said: the lack of related processing industries and lack of connection with global markets has made it impossible for us to develop land cultivation in this sector.

Abtali considered the most important medicinal plants in Mazandaran province as borage, Damask rose, thyme and peppermint and added: 750 to 800 tons of medicinal plants are produced annually in Mazandaran province and we have a special place in the production of these products in the country.
