Sweets Zulbia in Iran

Sweets Zulbia in Iran

Zulbia is a kind of Sweets that is usually sold with okra and earwax. Raw materials for this Sweets include yogurt, starch and yeast, which are added to flour after sour and so-called flour.
After frying this Sweets in oil, they are put into a sweet nectar containing saffron and rose water. Usually during the month of Ramadan the consumption of Zolbia and Okra is higher than in other months of the year.
Zulbia was originally the modified “Crucifix” or “Crusader” because it was made as a circle around a circle. This confectionery is still known as “Zulibi” in the south of Iran. Okra is similar to the Chorus (a donut) and is rolled in a Zulbia-like martyr. These delicious Sweets are often served with Iranian tea.
The timing of the birth of Zolbia Okra cannot be announced, and the only source is the experiences and words of the old masters of the profession. Even some of the old masters attribute Zulbiya and Bamiyah to the time of Shah Abbas. Since some cities lacked sweeteners such as raisins and dates, there were problems such as the destruction of these foods in other cities.
