Production of at least 115 thousand tons of Rose water in Kashan

The head of Kashan Agricultural Jihad Agricultural Industries Unit said: This city has 30 industrial and traditional units for the production of rose water and herbal essences with an annual production capacity of at least 115 thousand tons of rose water and herbal essences.

Sadegh Sadghgoo added: a total of 30 industrial units are active in this field.

He pointed out that in these units, 30 thousand tons is the minimum annual production capacity of Rose water and also 30 thousand tons is the minimum annual production capacity of herbal essences, he said: half a ton of essential oil is produced annually in industrial units.

According to the latest statistics, 1585 units with about 3,000 traditional rose water boilers with an annual production of 20,000 tons of rose water and 35,000 tons of herbal infusions are the number of traditional units of rose water and infusions in Kashan.

The head of Kashan Agricultural Jihad Industries Unit stated: The rate of direct employment of industrial and traditional units of Rose water and liqueurs production with a license from the Agricultural Jihad Industries Unit and the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade of Kashan is 5,520 people.

Sadeghgoo stated: The capacity of rose water and distillates factories in Kashan is such that it can turn all Mohammadi flowers and medicinal plants in the country into rose water and herbal essences in these units.

According to him, the industrial units for the production of Rose water and Kashan liqueurs, in addition to the flowers of this region, also produce rose water from other regions, including Fars and Kerman provinces.
