He added: Currently, considering the 336 hectares of cultivated area of the province for saffron cultivation and the desire of farmers to use water optimally, we are developing this product, so that this year an increase of 100 hectares in cultivated area is on the agenda and harvest 1 2. Tons of saffron from these farms is expected this year.
Horticulture Deputy of Jihad Agricultural Organization of Markazi Province stated that the area under cultivation of flowers and plants, vegetables and summer in the province is 670 hectares and said: this year, according to the Sixth Development Plan, the area under cultivation of these products should increase by 20 hectares, but by the end of August. 10.5 hectares have been added to the area under cultivation of greenhouses in the province.
Regarding the damage to the flowers and ornamental plants of the province, Asadi said: Unfortunately, this year the florists suffered damages due to the corona in different parts, especially the cut flowers, and in some cases they were forced to cut a large number of cut flowers due to Destroy lack of sales and unfavorable market.
According to him, Corona has caused nearly one hundred billion tomans in damage to the province’s florists, and in this regard, corona facilities have been paid 2.5 billion tomans to the victims of corona caused who registered in the relevant system.
The Deputy Minister of Horticulture of the Jihad Agricultural Organization of Markazi Province said: The Jihad Agricultural Organization has communicated policies to the flower growers to change the cultivation pattern in order to get out of the current problems.
Asadi stated: The products of the province’s florists have been announced to all municipalities and governorates of the country through the governor’s office in order to create a market for the sale of these products.
According to him, one of the projects of the resistance economy is currently for medicinal plants and greenhouses, cheap facilities will be paid and the entry of investors in this field will be supported.
