Mod and Ghohestan carpets of Iran have a global brand
Mushir al-Haq Abedi added: “Imam Khomeini’s relief committee’s action for the global registration of the relief carpet brand and what has started in South Khorasan according to its capacities and capabilities is very good.”

Referring to the two-day trip of the Board of Trustees to the South Khorasan Relief Carpet Travel Registration Board, he said: “Observing the province’s potentials, capacities and capabilities in the field of carpets will definitely make South Khorasan famous with two global carpet brands in fashion and coffee.”
The Deputy Governor of South Khorasan for Economic Affairs Coordination said: “As Sanat Afarin Emdad Co. did a great job of selling the province’s carpet products, we are pleased that South Khorasan carpet with 2 global brands has been considered.”
He added: “We hope that the transfer of experiences will help strengthen the business environment in the country, especially in South Khorasan.”
Abedi stated: “According to the order of the governor of South Khorasan, a comprehensive document of strategic products of the province has been compiled, which will be useful for branding and gaining a suitable position in world trade.”
He said: “Branding is one of the methods of selling quality products and the issue of branding to help sell the province’s products is considered by the governorate.”
The head of the Intellectual Property Center of the State Property and Documents Registration Organization also said: “The laws in the field of intellectual property are up to date and we are members of most international conventions, so we can use this capacity to register global trademarks, inventions and geographical indications.”
Mohammad Hassan Kiani added: “Numerous signs, especially in the field of carpets, belong to South Khorasan, and the place of jujube, barberry and saffron is also empty in the field of geographical indication.”
He said: “The five-year plan for commercialization of Iranian products has been signed since September of last year with the cooperation of the Spiritual Property Center of the Real Estate Registration Organization and the World Intellectual Property Registration Organization.”
The head of the Judiciary’s Intellectual Property Center added: “We hope that carpet and handicrafts can be supported with global capacities and effective laws in the field of commercial signs and geographical indications.”

The CEO of Sanat Afarinan Company said: The carpet approval mark prevents the entry of competing countries in this field in the name of Iran.
Mehdi Ebrahimi Alavijeh continued: “Also, this project makes the lovers of Iranian handmade carpets use this carpet more easily and better through this badge of approval.”
Referring to the impact of this project on the export of handmade carpets, he said: “When the recognition of Iranian carpets is implemented through a brand, it plays a significant role in the prosperity of production and job creation.”
The CEO of Sanat Afarinan Relief Committee added: “Iranian handmade carpets are among the goods that have been sanctioned because 40% of the carpet markets in the United States and with this project and the request of people from other countries for handmade carpets, government sanctions will be lifted.” Prosperity happens.
He added: “Currently, 3,100 carpet weavers are covered by the relief committee of South Khorasan Province, which is working in 2,050 home workshops and 14 joint workshops.”
Reza Salmabadi emphasized that the carpet of relief clients needs to enter the market with a special brand, adding: “Branding can greatly help the market to sell products. The director general of the South Khorasan Relief Committee added: “About 90% of the handmade carpets produced by the relief committee’s clients in the province are exported after entering the market.”
