Malayer Grape High Chance in Globalization
The head of the Grape and Raisin Research Institute of Malayer University said:
The representative of the World Food Organization along with a delegation from
the Economic Research Institute of the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture visited Malayer to inspect the grape,
raisin, juice and other by-products industry.
Dr. Ruhollah Karimi added:
In this presence, from all areas related to grapes and raisins, including Darhuzan vineyards,
research and educational vineyards and research institute buildings, laboratories and workshops of Malayer University,
Malayer Grape Research Station, raisin preparation and packaging factories, museums and related handicrafts With the harvesting,
drying and preparation of grape juice, canals and water distribution system in Zanganeh vineyards and bazaars and Manizan tourist village
were visited for two days.
He stated:
The main part of the proposal related to the World Grape City,
the script and translation of brochures related to the grape field and raisins of Malayer
city were translated by the Research Institute and provided to the FAO representative.
Karami stated that during his visit to the research and educational vineyards of the research institute,
we explained the irrigation system in the garden number one to the FAO representative, adding:
the research institute held a more than 15 seasonal workshops and 4 specialized conferences on grapes and raisins.
It had a thousand farmers and experts.
The head of the Grape and Raisin Research Institute of Malayer University said:
The FAO representative visited all the potentials of the city in the field of grapes,
raisins and juice and expressed his satisfaction with the long history of cultivation,
existing infrastructure and good relations of vine growers with government organizations and academic and research centers.
Grapes and raisins, Malayer grapes have a high chance of globalization,
but the final result will be announced at a meeting to be held in the next 2 months at the headquarters of the World Food Organization in Rome, Italy.
He reminded:
in the process of global registration of Malayer grapes in FAO, Malayer Special Governorate, Malayer University,
Grape and Raisin Research Institute, Malayer University Office of International Affairs,
Malayer Jihad-e-Agriculture Management, Cultural Heritage, Guidance and other relevant agencies made significant efforts.
