The art of kilim weaving, such as carpet weaving, is one of the common handicrafts in Iran, which can be seen today in some parts of the country, especially in the Qashqai region of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, but its indigenous patterns and traditional weaving have been forgotten today.
Ms. Mirzakhani is one of the Qashqai women of Naqneh city in Borujen city.
He said: Those who are interested in the art of kilim and jajim weaving, after 2 years of training in this workshop, can weave kilims separately or work in the same workshop and benefit from its income.
He added: Qashqai kilims and jajims, which have a special color and freshness, are woven in a mental weaving way.
