Kerman kilim Nomads in Iran

kilim shiriki pich:

“Shiriki pich” is the name that Kerman tribal and rural weavers have put on some kind of kilim. In the indigenous term, screw screw is more commonly known as needle kilim.
The name of the screw coil comes from the phrase of a partner twisting two threads together and another quotation from a partner working two or more weavers.
For shiriki pich we use creamy, coarse fabric and in some areas thin fabric. shiriki pich kilim All wool is all fibers of staple, cream and wool. The texture of this kilim is as difficult and time-consuming as the rug.
The textured device is horizontal or vertical kilim weaving. The shiriki pich knot is based on two types: text knot and embroidered knot.
After finishing knitting, each row of sutures is made and there is a conflict between the sutures and the knots.
The shiriki pich motifs go beyond the geometrical range due to their special features, sometimes achieving equilibrium and harmony by combining asymmetrical motifs.
The basis of the shiriki pich weavers’ work is to consist of two parallel wooden or metal beams and the other two beams are vertically attached to the beginning and end of each, forming a rectangular frame, with the hinged and underneath bars. They bypass the door. Between the piles and perpendicular to them are two sticks, one called “round” and the other “round”. Scissors, knives and drapery are other tissue tools.
In the texture area and its functions, the horn is used to retract and rotate the horn, but it is worth noting that horn is common in horizontal horns. In kilim shiriki pich weave very thin yarn (to be used for thin kilim weft) wool (for kilim weaving and plowing and weft), crack and silk (kilim weft). shiriki pich kilim is all wool. Wool yarn is used for taropod and cream. Sometimes colored silk yarn is used along with wool yarn for cream.
The texture of this kilim is of a “powdery” type, and because of the way the cream is wrapped around the thread in the kilim of sweetness the nodes that are common in the sweetness of the screw are:
2) Text Node: The text node of the thread is extracted from under the two strings, then passed over them, and so on through the other strings.
4) Embroidered knot: In this type of knot the thread crosses the two threads and returns underneath the two threads and crosses again under and over the same two threads. After the knot is tightened, the extra parts are pushed back to the kilim. This node is thicker than the text node. Because the weft is wrapped twice around the thread. The knot operation is done from the right and sometimes from the left.
The weaving method in kilim is a rib-to-ridge screw, which, after each rib, is finished by a thin thread. Like the carpet weave, it has no effect on the kilim motifs, and only strengthens and prevents the nodes from interfering. In texture and its functions, this kilim is woven into two strands.
Upon completion of the kilim texture, there is a follow-up of the following operations:
2) Burning extra yarn behind kilim
2) Burning extra kilim surface villains
1) Kilim wash
2) Dragging (this is necessary when the kilim is distorted after the texture)
1) Steam ironing
