Harvesting 1200 tons of black grapes from the gardens of Khalifan village
The head of the Jihad Agricultural Center of Kani Bazaar village, noting that 1200 tons of black grapes have been harvested from the orchards of this region so far, added: The average harvest of grapes per hectare is four tons.
Jamal Khosravi said: out of a total of 400 hectares of vineyards in the Khalifan district, 300 hectares are fertile.
He added: In addition to local consumption, most of the products of this region are sold in the markets of Urmia and Mahabad counties.
According to Khosravi, in recent years, due to the sloping grape growing lands, farmers in this area have been welcomed.
