Farsh Qashqai handmade carpet was registered worldwide

Hamid Kargar, head of the National Carpet Center of Iran, said that some people follow everything with a look of despair: “Some people are excited that both views are inappropriate and today they exist in different parts of the country.
He continued: “This is also the case with carpets, because some people consider Iranian carpets to be finished and some people consider Iranian carpets to be the best and universal without any effort.”
Hamid Kargar added: “None of these views are true because we believe that despite all the problems that exist in the way of producers, there is still hope.”
The head of the National Carpet Center of Iran said: “There is an outpouring of raw materials for handmade carpets and the challenges ahead, but Iranian carpets are alive and with all the problems, there has been production and export of carpets.”
He added: “In the last three years, we exported about $ 300 million in 2014, and by the end of 1996, the amount of carpet exports reached $ 424 million.”
Kargar stated: In the discussion of carpet weavers’ insurance, we faced problems that caused not all carpet weavers to be insured, which was also resolved with the coordination made.
He stated that the two geographical areas of Fars carpet have been registered globally, and specified: From now on, we must be active in the marketing and commercialization of this carpet.
