Establishment of seven Iranian carpet houses in foreign countries
Farahnaz Rafeh said in the ninth pre-meeting of the Export Development Working Group: “Assistance in forming carpet houses in the target export countries is a necessary necessity.”
He added: “Different geographical regions of Iran each have a style and variety in the design and raw materials of handmade carpets, and due to this large capacity, it is necessary to set up permanent exhibitions of handmade carpets in different countries of the world.”
The head of the National Carpet Center of Iran mentioned the planning for the establishment of seven carpet houses in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the target countries as another program of this center.
In the end, Rafi asked the Trade Development Organization of Iran to allocate export incentives to register the geographical brand of handmade carpets.
Also in the continuation of this meeting, Mehrdad Ghazanfari, economic deputy governor of Qom, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade to invite provincial officials to attend the meetings of the working group for export development.
He stressed the need to develop comprehensive and complete packages in the field of exports, and described the support of exports in the current situation as a driver of development, and called for all packages to be exported with the benefit of stakeholders.
It is worth mentioning that the ninth pre-meeting of the Export Development Working Group of Iran with the presence of all members, officials of Qom Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Qom and Fars Province, officials of Qom Governorate and the head of the National Carpet Center and export unions active in handmade carpets. The problems of handmade carpets as well as explaining the export issues of Qom province were held in the Trade Development Organization of Iran.
