He cited the emergence of countries such as India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, and of course a few other countries in the carpet market, as the main reason for the decline in carpet sales and exports. He called marketing the most important missing link in the story of Iranian hand-woven carpets and said: “With the US sanctions, we have lost an important market, so we must do our best to market in other sectors and countries.”
The government must come up with a new marketing plan; Take the carpet out of this crisis, but unfortunately, as it turns out, there is no movement in the National Carpet Center.
Kamyabi Musk added: “A producer and exporter cannot have a direct entry into this part of the carpet economy due to the costs of marketing, so the government must put special solutions and special credits in this regard.”
