Beginning of grape harvest from Indika vineyards
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Indika announced the beginning of the grape harvest from the vineyards of this region.
Murad Emami stated:
This year, the grape crop has been planted on 70 hectares of Indika vineyards and the farmers have started harvesting
this crop and it is predicted that an average of four tons of grapes will be harvested per hectare.
He added:
Cultivated grape cultivars include Yaghouti, Soltani and Perlet cultivars and due to the suitable climate and climatic conditions, the product of this region is very marketable.
Pointing out that the grape harvest will continue until early August, Emami said:
Last year, the average grape harvest in this city was two to two and a half tons per hectare,
and this year we are witnessing an improvement in the yield of Indika vineyards.
