Meshkabad carpet is a type of Iranian carpet and is one of the handicrafts of Meshkabad village. This carpet is world famous as one of the handmade carpets of Markazi province. It is a small piece of fabric, large and cheap, and has a long lint. The Meshkabad carpet design is often Minakhani, Golnahaei and Herati. The knots of these rugs are asymmetrical, the fabric is blue, and the usual wood in this area is vertical. The size of Meshkabad carpets is often medium and large, and the knot used in this area is Persian. The old carpets of Meshkabad have a velvety surface and some luster.
