Mazlaqan carpet is a light rural carpet that is woven in Mazlaqan region located in Markazi province in central Iran. In this carpet, asymmetrical knots with cotton thread and wool fleece are used. Lacquer, bergamot, and geometry are common designs of navy blue, lacquer, ivory, and blue.

Mazlaqan is a village in the west of Saveh where carpets are woven with a completely exclusive design to such an extent that the elasticity of the design is separated from the red text and the simple floor of the carpet by a congressional ribbon.
The inside of the folds and the middle bergamot are mostly covered with single bouquets. Sometimes the simple text of the rug is obscured by a lace-like net containing star-shaped flowers.
The carpet’s hexagonal bergamot is enclosed like broken, congressional lines. Similar to this design, carpets are woven by Shahsun nomads.
