All about Gholtogh carpet in Iran
Gholtogh carpet is a light rural carpet woven in the Gholtogh region of Zanjan province in northwestern Iran. In this carpet, symmetrical knots with cotton and woolen threads and woolen lint have been used. Lacquer, bergamot and geometry are common designs and lacquer, navy blue, green and brown are common colors of Gholtogh carpet.
