12,000 tons of coriander were harvested in Hamedan province
The horticultural director of the Jihad Agricultural Organization of Hamadan province said: 12,000 tons of crops have been harvested from 6400 hectares of cultivated coriander in the province.
Hojjatollah Shahbazi, director of horticulture affairs of Hamedan Jihad Agricultural Organization, told reporters on Saturday morning: 6400 hectares of coriander has been planted in Hamedan province, of which about 12 thousand tons have been harvested.
Shahbazi added: 99% of the cultivated area of ??this crop in the province belongs to Nahavand city and the rest of the cultivated areas belong to Tuyserkan and Vasadabad cities. It should be noted that about 50 to 60% of the annual production of this product in the country is related to Hamadan province.
He continued: Last year, this crop was 2,000 hectares with a production of 4,000 tons, and this year, with extensive incentive activities to develop the cultivation of this crop, the situation was better.
