Qarjeh Iranian handmade carpet
Qarajeh carpets are woven either by the weavers of the villages near Harris or the nomadic nomads settled in these areas. Nomadic carpets in the area are typically softer, while rural carpets have a denser texture. Among the traditional colors, local weavers, in addition to the shiny ivory color, also like the bright red colors of sumac and brown syringe. Their carpets are generally woven in geometric style. On the middle axis of the carpets, the role of three thorns is often seen. The distance between these bergamots and the edge of the carpet is covered with geometric shapes.
One of the characteristics of Qarajeh carpets is that it is a mass. The weaving network of these carpets consists of white cotton threads and grayish blue fabrics. Local weavers weave in different sizes, but mostly in the shape of a side or two-piece rugs that are relatively wider than usual.
