Gabbeh Yasuj Crafts in Iran

The Yasuj nomads’ tomb is a type of carpet with long, multi-potted villas measuring about 150 x 220 cm. The lace was an old gabbro of its wool, and its warp was a mixture of wool and hair and wool. Colored gabbros that are recently woven in the province are sometimes made of cotton.
The Yasuj tribes use Gabbeh to carpet their tents. In the past, this product was less marketed, and because it was a self-contained product and did not have the usual textures in the market, they used their own customized motifs and colors. In the Gabbeh design, geometrical motifs, especially pond motifs, known as pond motifs, are widely used. The role of the dock in the Gabbeh usually consists of one to three large rhombuses in the middle and text of the Gabbeh. This role is usually used in the paintings themselves. Another role that is used in most gabbros is the harp, which can be seen both in the color itself and in the color. This role is used one-on-one in both self-styled and in-the-wall.

Gabbeh roles:

Flower and Nightingale Ribbons: In this role, one of the most common motifs of the Yasuj nomadic tribes, two nightingales sit opposite each other on a branch of flowers whose flowers are half-full of eight flowers.
The role of potted flower: It is a motif that is common in Yasuj colors. The crumbs are composed of various motifs such as harp and star, and the Gabbeh text is filled with these small, orderly motifs. Another motif of the province, which is used in colored monuments and the color of the nomads themselves, is the role of the star woven together and the distance between them is shaped like a rhombus.
The role of the pine: The role of the pine, which is a symbol of greenery and youth and life in the tribes of Yasuj tribes, in the form of pine trees, covering the whole text of the Gabbeh. The role of pine is found in some of the self-colored gabions in the gabbro-producing areas (including Sarbisheh).
The role of the cauliflower: This role looks like an open cabbage. This painting is very similar to the Abbasid flower without stems and leaves.
The role of the samurai: This role is repeated throughout the text of Gabbeh. Next to the entrance of the samovars is the role of the survey, with the head slightly bent. The role of the samurai on the carpet is different from the role of the carpet samurai.
The fringes of Yasuj Gabbeh are like a simple but more geometric carpet fringe. The most famous and most beautiful fringes can be the Milky Way, Clay Fringe, Flower Fringe, Harp Fringe and Scorpion Fringe.
